which pool for bitcoin mining on mac ?

Post by Klinge »

unMineable is working great for me with using xmrig as a miner on my macmini M1.
Payouts are paid in BTC but i can’t mine BTC directly.

So i tried pool.btc.com and slushpool.com with different miners but none
worked for me. Is this because the hardware is too weak or what i am doing wrong?

M1 for BTC.... It will take 583d 10h 19m for your first payout!

MacMini M1 around 2 Mh.
You can check what to mine with your mining power here: https://unmineablesbest.com/

With that power you shoul be mining BTT, WINk or Nano. Even NANO will take 3d 1h 40m for first payout.

If you want to mine BTC with Mac I really recommed you CryptoTab Brower.

You can download from here: https://cryptotabbrowser.com/33106666

And for easy mining on M1, just try these two:

1) MacMiner works fine in M1 and Intel https://xcreate.com/macminer/

2) thinminerpro works pretty well in M1, but not (in my case) in Intel. https://github.com/rezahussain/thinminerpro

Good luck

Thanks for the answer. My target is not to earn money. It’s more supporting the network. As i understand miners are needed for creating new blocks. After a little research i think the p2pool is the best solution for this target. I’m running a full node also. Unfortunately the instructions for mac os are a little bit confusing for me and i’m stuck in the installation process of the p2pool. Is there anybody out there who can help? Thank you very much. 🙏😀

Eldfall chronicles

And for playing with your friends and making a game out of it, just try these two:

1) New awesome place to live: https://erasmus-home.com/en/

2) thinminerpro works pretty well in M1, but not (in my case) in Intel

These 2 are really great I use them and exchange them further on nexthash
