Mining with the World's Fastest GPU!! - AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo 64GB (Over 1 Hour of Mining!!)

Post by macminergod »

The AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo 2x32GB is an "Apple Only" GPU card that is exclusively available to Apple's likely last Intel Mac Pro. The Pro Vega II Duo is recognized in Windows Boot Camp at two separate GPU's (2x 32GB GPU's). Each mine an impressive 80 MH/s for a total cryptomining hash power of around 160 MH/s. You can configure a Mac Pro to have two Pro Vega II Duo's, for a total potential average hashrate of around 320 MH/s.

Our mining tests were done with the default AMD Radeon Boot Camp Drivers (see details below) using OpenCL. Nice Hash benchmarked SRBMiner with the highest potential hashrate possible mining Ethereum. As you see in the video, our daily earnings fluctuate between $18 - $36 a day just mining with the Pro Vega II Duo. So in theory, two Pro Vega II Duo's could net you anywhere between $36 - $72. Obviously, usage varies and these earnings are based on the current BTC conversion rates (or rate of coin you exchanging for).

Our Mac Pro power draw averaged around 600 Watts total. The Pro Vega II Duo fans spun high and had a "medium" noise humming generation. The Pro Vega II Duo card did kick out a lot of heat while we ran our mining tests.

Earnings depend on how you are paid per pool. Nice Hash pays via BTC. With how volatile BTC currency is, your earnings may vary widely.
